There are many options available to help fund your child’s education. We know that each family has unique circumstances, and our advisers are skilled in walking you through the available options.

Cost and tuition

This budget  includes direct expenses for which Hopkins will bill you, such as tuition, fees, and room and meals. Indirect expenses — such as books, supplies, personal expenses, and travel — are also included.  For juniors and seniors living off campus, off-campus rent and food are also considered indirect expenses. Cost will vary depending on the type of room and meal plan. Some students will spend more, and others less.

Net Price Calculator

Use the JHU Net Price Calculator to get an estimate of what you’d pay to attend Johns Hopkins. Even if you are not looking to apply immediately, or even this year, it is still a good place to start understanding the cost of a college education. You can create “what if” scenarios based on expected family income and anticipated expenses, and start to plan and save well before applying to college.

If you have any questions about the Net Price Calculator, the Office of Student Financial Services at JHU is here to assist you. Contact our staff with any questions or concerns.
